Terry Knight Is New Perma-Chink Systems CEO
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Terry Knight as the new Chief Executive Officer of Perma-Chink Systems.
Terry’s journey with PCS began in 2010 at our Knoxville, TN office, where she started as part of the inside sales team. Her drive and dedication quickly led her to take on responsibilities in special log and timber home sales programs and log home dealer relations. She went on to serve as the Knoxville Branch Sales Manager for five years, a role in which she consistently demonstrated strong leadership, a deep commitment to customer service, and a genuine passion for the log and timber home industry.
In 2019, Terry was promoted to National Director of Branch Sales & Operations, where she played a critical role in strengthening PCS’s national presence and operational excellence.
Terry's professional accomplishments are matched by her academic achievements. While working full-time at PCS, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing in 2012, followed by an MBA in Management and Operations in 2014 — both from the University of Phoenix.
Her journey is a testament to hard work, integrity, and dedication - values at the core of Perma-Chink Systems. We are excited for the future under her leadership and look forward to continued growth and innovation with Terry as CEO.
Stephanie Swan Advances to National Director of Branch Sales & Operations
We are proud to announce the promotion of Stephanie Swan to the National Director of Branch Sales & Operations position.
Stephanie joined PCS in 2019 at our Petersburg, PA branch as an inside sales representative. Thanks to her exceptional customer service skills and strong leadership potential, she was quickly promoted to PA Branch Manager. Under her guidance, the branch has flourished - consistently providing outstanding support and solutions to a wide range of customers, from log and timber home manufacturers to individual homeowners.
Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Delaware, holding a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, with minors in French and Mandarin Chinese. Her diverse background and experience across multiple industries bring a unique perspective to her leadership role.
Her strong commitment to customer care, operational excellence and team development makes her a natural fit for this national leadership position.
Randy Adamson Named CEO Emeritus
Perma-Chink Systems CEO Randy Adamson has announced his transition from full-time CEO to a part-time advisory role as CEO Emeritus, effective June 1, 2025.
Returning to PCS in 2024 after the loss of founder and President Rich Dunstan, Randy brought his experience and leadership to directing PCS through this transitionary period.
Throughout his tenure, Randy has played an instrumental role in refining and strengthening Perma-Chink Systems, helping elevate PCS' position in the industry. His leadership brought a renewed emphasis on transparency, integrity, and team building, shaping a workplace culture that reflects the core values of our company.
Although stepping back from day-to-day operations, Randy will continue to be involved with the company in an advisory capacity, offering his guidance and experience as we move forward. This transition will also allow him to prioritize his health and continue his journey toward retirement.
Randy and his wife, Allyson, are looking forward to the next chapter - one filled with travel, relaxation, and cherished time spent with their grandchildren.
