PCS Clear Shield
Clear Wood Finish for Walls and Floors
Log homes have warmth and character that add an air of elegance. Grain patterns, natural color variation, and texture make rooms feel inviting. That is where PCS Clear Shield fits in.
This clear protective finish for wood helps guard interior walls, ceilings, trim, and floors from everyday wear. The natural appearance remains visible for a stunning look. Foot traffic, furniture, and sunlight gradually take a toll on exposed wood. A quality finish helps slow that process.
The water-based formula dries quickly. It has very little odor, making application easier in occupied spaces. Once cured, it forms a durable layer that bonds tightly to the surface without creating the heavy, artificial look often associated with inferior coatings.
PCS Clear Shield is a practical choice for log homes, timber homes, and other interiors where exposed wood plays a major role in the overall design.
Clear Shield Available Sizes
Our clear wood finish is available in 1-gallon and 5-gallon containers, along with a free 3-ounce sample. Our test size allows you to evaluate the appearance of the finish on your wood.
A 1-gallon container can tackle small rooms, trim packages, and touch-up projects. For larger interior spaces, whole-home applications, or wood flooring projects, choose the largest size for maximum coverage.

How to Store
Interior finishing projects are often completed in stages. If material remains after application, close the container. Store in a clean, dry area away from temperature extremes and remove dried finish buildup. Extra attention keeps our clear protective finish for wood ready for future coats or touch-ups.
Application Process
Good preparation makes a noticeable difference. Start with a clean, dry surface. Stir the finish thoroughly before use, then apply a thin, even coat. Follow the direction of the wood grain. Allow the surface to dry before applying additional coats.
Maintenance
Clean brushes, rollers, and tools as soon as the project is complete. If any finish remains, seal the container and store for future touch-ups.
