Non-Shrinking Epoxy Wood Putty for Log Homes
A missing piece of a log or window sill calls for a repair that holds its shape. E-Wood is a thick, two-part filler that rebuilds those sections. It bonds to rigid surfaces and provides the necessary size for missing sections without shrinking as it cures.
Our epoxy wood filler for outdoor repairs fits irregular spaces. Press and shape it to match the surrounding wood. After the patch cures, trim it with a saw or smooth it with a sander. Logs and dimensional wood members are then ready for paint or stain.

Disposal: Dispose of unused product and empty containers in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. To protect the environment, do not pour unused epoxy wood filler for outdoor repairs into drains or waterways.
How to Store
E-Wood epoxy wood putty has a one-year shelf life. Keep Part A and Part B separate between projects. The putty starts curing once combined, so the leftover mix will not keep for another repair. Reseal each original container and store it upright, away from direct sunlight.
Application Tech Tips
Clean and dry repair areas before you begin. Measure equal amounts of E-Wood Part A and Part B. Then, knead them together until the color is uniform. We recommend you use gloves when handling the epoxy.
At 70°F, the mixed putty has a working time of about 60 minutes, so prepare an amount you can apply within that window.
Maintenance
Epoxy wood putty cures into a rigid patch. During routine log inspections, look along its edges for separation from the surrounding wood. Keep the paint or stain over the repair in good condition, just as you would on nearby wood. If a gap appears, check what has changed in the before adding more putty.
