Strip-It
Professional-Grade Log Home Stain Remover
Old finishes eventually need to come off before the wood underneath gets a fresh start. Strip-It removes multiple layers in a single application, reducing log preparation time for refinishing.
This water-based log home finish remover works on interior and exterior wood surfaces. The pH-neutral formula has no odor and will not raise the grain. It also leaves the natural wood color alone rather than darkening or discoloring the surface.
Strip-It is biodegradable and non-flammable. The formula will not harm chinking or sealants, which makes it practical for restoration work on existing log homes.
Shop Available Sizes
Strip-It comes in a 5-gallon pail. Larger restoration projects will require an assessment to determine necessary amounts. One gallon covers up to 55 square feet. A free sample is available for testing before work begins.
Product Information
Older wood may have several layers of finish left from previous applications. StripIt log home stain remover penetrates those coatings and loosens them from the surface for removal.
Unlike caustic chemical strippers used for log home restoration, the formula is pH-neutral. Aluminum and other metals will not corrode or discolor from contact with the product. Once the old coating is gone, the logs are ready for the cleaning and preparation steps that follow.
Features
- Removes most finishes from logs, siding, and deck surfaces
