Patented glycol penetrants make Bora-Care® powerful. When ingested by termites, beetles, or ants, the insect becomes unable to extract nutrition from food. Starvation and death soon follow. Due to this unique mode of action, insects have not been known to develop any resistance.
Bora-Care works differently than most other insecticides, termiticides, and fungicides. For starters, it isn’t applied to the soil but rather to the structure itself. This guards the very materials that termites and other pests can damage.

How to Store
Separation affects mixing consistency over time. Reseal the container immediately after each use. Stable storage conditions help preserve borate wood treatment compositions between applications.
How to Apply
Mix water with our borate-based wood preservative before application. Apply an even coat to clean surfaces. After applying the recommended method, allow treated surfaces to dry completely before adding a finish.
Maintenance
Periodic evaluations help identify newly exposed wood before insects or decay become a concern. Retreat only the affected areas after repairs, renovations, or modifications expose untreated surfaces. - Bora-Care is a concentrate that must be diluted with clean water before use. The use of warm or hot water is not required, but, if available, can aid the dilution process.
