Mildew-X
Mildewcide Treatment for Log Homes
Mold on a log home or cabin is the precursor to decay and rot. Mold is not only unsightly. It leads to rotten logs that need replacing. When you add Mildewcide to a final coat of Lifeline Advance, you get added protection against mold, mildew, and algae.
Perma-Chink Systems’ Mildewcide additive mixes easily into a single gallon or 5-gallon pail. Mildew-X will not affect the color. Regardless of your selection, selected Lifeline stains will not diminish. It is an additional layer of defense without adding VOCs or harsh odors to the coating system.
Humid climates, heavily wooded properties, and areas where surfaces stay damp longer after rain often need extra attention. Harsh environments create ongoing challenges for exterior wood.
Available Mildewcide Additive Sizes
Mildew-X mixes into the selected finish. The correct size depends on the amount of Lifeline Advance necessary to complete the job. Containers are available for one and five-gallon pails.
It is easy to maintain the recommended mixing ratios. Select the version that matches the quantity of finish necessary for your project.
